IfG Glastechnik GmbH shows how to best protect glass
Once again this year IfG Glastechnik GmbH will be on hand in Düsseldorf at glasstec. IfG develops and manufactures custom powder application systems to protect all kinds of sheet glass and markets its products all around the world. IfG and its associates – Grafix GmbH in Stuttgart and KSL Staubtechnik GmbH in Lauingen – will be showing economical concepts for applying separating agents. Also to be seen are easy-to-use control concepts and integral services packages aiming for greater productivity and higher availability. At center stage, as always, are technical and personal discussions with customers, associates and interested parties from every sector in the glass industry.
In the time since its premiere in 1996, the Economical Powdering System (EPS), developed in collaboration with Grafix, has gained renown as a highly efficient system incorporating nozzles to apply protective powders to glass. Even in the most extreme atmospheres and climates, all around the world, EPS systems are both precise and dependable. This specialist firm has accumulated fourty years of expertise in the processes associated with glass powdering, applying separating agents, and transporting glass. At the upcoming trade fair IfG Glastechnik GmbH will be presenting current developments, technical innovations, new solutions, and services associated with the systems.
IfG Glastechnik will be showing how EPS, making use of optimized nozzles and control technology, matches the amount of powder discharged exactly to the speed of the line and the width of the glass. That cuts costs. A new control concept using touch screen input makes for intuitive operation. It also simplifies parameterization and permits easy-to-understand troubleshooting for the EPS machines. Should this ever become necessary, then it quickly becomes clear where and what actions need to be taken.
With new support capacities including the EPS Maintenance Service, this glass protection specialist helps ensure that EPS powder application systems always reflect the state of the art. With remote service packages tailored to customers’ needs, IfG Glastechnik makes for smooth processes and support – even at the most distant corners of the earth. These packages make sure that downtime is a rarity. Individualized training on the system and workshops covering topics specific to customer needs – in the company’s own Technical Center – round out the range of services.
IfG Glastechnik is inviting all its customers, associates and interested parties to join in informal talks at the trade fair booth (Hall 15, Stand D24).
